Rock in the New Year with Rockport's annual First Night festivities! The Shalin Liu Performance Center comes alive with concerts from local favorites The Cape Ann Big Band, a cappella sensation Overboard, and Henri Smith New Orleans Friends & Flavours.

The Cape Ann Big Band, 6 & 7 PM

With a performance of “Golden era” standards—swing, pop tunes, and show-tunes from popular films—this diverse 17-piece big band will bring you back in time. Enjoy tunes like “Orange Colored Sky,” “Minnie the Moocher,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Take the A Train,” Glenn Miller’s “In the Mood,” “Begin the Beguine,” and a medley from The Blues Brothers.

Overboard, 8 & 9 PM

Henri Smith New Orleans Friends & Flavours, 10 & 11 PM
