Award-winning jazz pianist and composer Tamir Hendelman moved from Tel-Aviv to Los Angeles at age twelve and has been performing across the US, Europe, and Asia ever since. He has played and recorded with James Moody, Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole, and Tierney Sutton, among others. “Tamir Hendelman is one of those ‘overnight sensations’ who’s been working steadily for years,” hailed All About Jazz. Making his Rockport Music debut, Handelman’s Trio explores standards, Brazilian music, blues, and Hendleman’s own Israeli roots.
